Derry Billingsley sincerely loves the Lord and the Lord’s people. A third generation music minister, he has a passion for leading people in experiencing the manifest presence of Christ in worship. He relates to people of all ages, and is good with choirs of all ages.

Derry has over 19 years of worship leadership experience highlighted by a twelve year tenure as Minister of Music at his former church in South Carolina. He has an extensive knowledge of hymnody and contemporary worship songs, and a unique creativity of blending the two. He is accomplished in choral and orchestral conducting, currently plays guitar in his church praise team, and is recognized as an expert in leading and writing for preschool choirs.

He and Jana have been married for over 11 years, and have been blessed with two sons, Harrison (7) and Hayden (5).

Derry obtained his Bachelors in Music Education (Vocal Emphasis) from Middle Tennessee State University in 1992, and a Masters in Church Music from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1995.

His life verse is Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your path.”
